Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: June 14, 2026

Welcome to Forecourt Rescue Suffolk.

These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our mobile vehicle assistance and wrong fuel recovery services, as well as our website located at https://www.forecourt-rescue-suffolk.co.uk/.

By accessing this website or booking our services over the phone, we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full.

Do not continue to use our services if you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

1. Scope of Service & Safety Exclusions

Forecourt Rescue Suffolk provides mobile wrong fuel extraction and fuel recovery services for vehicles across Suffolk.

Important Road Safety Exclusion: Please note that we do not operate our fuel drain or recovery services on motorways or dual carriageways.

Our mobile technicians cannot safely perform fuel extractions on these high-speed roads due to strict safety regulations and regional hazards.

If your vehicle has broken down or been misfueled on a motorway or a dual carriageway, you must contact a dedicated highway recovery agency or towing service to move the vehicle to a safe secondary location (such as a petrol station forecourt or local parking area) before we can attend to the vehicle.

2. Bookings, Deposits, and Payments

To secure a booking for our mobile dispatch technician, we require a security deposit at the time of your call.

The required deposit must be paid via a secure payment link or over the phone before our technician is dispatched to your location.

The deposit amount will be fully deducted from the final total invoice price once the fuel drain or service is successfully completed on-site.

The remaining balance must be paid immediately upon completion of the work by cash, credit card, or debit card.

3. Cancellation Policy

Because we immediately allocate a technician and plan a vehicle route upon receiving a booking, all deposits are strictly non-refundable if you choose to cancel the job.

If you cancel the service at any point after the booking is confirmed and the deposit is paid, the deposit will be retained by us to cover administrative costs and technician dispatch losses.

If our technician arrives at your location and you choose not to proceed with the service, or if you provided an incorrect location where we cannot legally or safely work, the deposit remains non-refundable.

4. Customer Obligations

You must provide us with accurate information regarding your vehicle make, model, registration number, fuel type, and exact physical location.

You must ensure that your vehicle is parked in a safe, legal, and accessible off-road location (such as a petrol station forecourt, private driveway, or standard town road) where our technicians can safely work.

You must remain with the vehicle or ensure an authorized representative is present when our technician arrives on site.

5. Limitation of Liability

Forecourt Rescue Suffolk will perform all fuel extraction services with reasonable care and skill.

We are not liable for any pre-existing mechanical damage, fuel pump failures, or engine issues caused by driving or starting the vehicle with the incorrect fuel prior to our arrival.

While we make every effort to reach you within the estimated time frame provided during booking, we are not liable for delays caused by traffic congestion, severe weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.

6. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

How to Use What3Words for a Faster Rescue

What3Words has divided the entire world into 3-metre squares and gave each one a unique combination of three words. This is far more accurate than a standard GPS pin or trying to describe a "green field near Bury St Edmunds."

  1. Open the App or Website: Go to what3words.com on your phone.

  2. Find Your Location: Tap the "locate me" button (the crosshair icon).

  3. Read the 3 Words: You will see three words separated by dots (e.g., ///filled.count.soap).

  4. Tell Our Technician: When you call us, give us those three words. Our Forecourt Rescue Suffolk van will be able to navigate directly to your exact 3-metre square.
