Our Services
Mobile Fuel Drain & Misfuel Recovery
At Forecourt Rescue Suffolk, we specialize in professional, fast, and safe mobile fuel extraction.
If you have accidentally contaminated your vehicle's fuel system, do not turn on the ignition or start the engine.
Our fully equipped mobile units operate 24/7 across Suffolk and surrounding borders to drain the incorrect fluid right where you are, saving you thousands in potential engine repairs and dealership fees.
⚠️ Important Highway Safety Protocol
For safety and legal compliance, we cannot perform mobile fuel drains on active motorways or live traffic lanes of major dual carriageways (such as the A14, A11, or A12).
If you realize you have misfueled while driving on a high-speed route, please safely pull off at the next available exit into a petrol station forecourt, a designated layby, services, or a connecting local town, and call us immediately. We will meet you in the safe zone.

🛠️ Specialized Fuel Drain Services
Petrol in a Diesel Car (Most Common)
Putting petrol into a diesel tank is the most frequent misfueling error. Petrol acts as a solvent in a diesel engine, stripping away lubrication and potentially destroying the high-pressure fuel pump and injectors if circulated.
-
Our Process: We completely drain the petrol from your tank, flush the fuel lines and fuel filter, replenish the tank with fresh diesel fuel, and prime the system to ensure a clean start.
Diesel in a Petrol Car
While less common due to nozzle sizes, putting diesel into a petrol car still happens frequently. Diesel cannot combust properly in a petrol engine, leading to heavy smoking, misfiring, unburnt fuel clogging the catalytic converter, and eventual engine stall.
-
Our Process: Our technicians pump out the heavy diesel fluid, clean out the spark plugs and fuel lines, refill the system with fresh petrol, and test-start the vehicle to clear out any remaining residue.
💧 Chemical & Fluid Contamination Services
AdBlue in a Diesel Tank
AdBlue is a water-and-urea-based solution, not a fuel. If it is accidentally poured into your main diesel fuel tank, it will quickly crystallize. This crystallized urea acts like liquid sandpaper, completely ruining fuel pumps, fuel lines, sensors, and injectors within minutes of starting the car. This is a severe emergency.
-
Our Process: We perform an intensive, deep-system flush. We drop and clean the tank, flush the lines with specialized solution before the AdBlue can crystallize, replace the fuel filter, and verify the system is completely free of water and urea before restarting.
Water in a Diesel Tank
-
Whether it entered via a contaminated garage storage tank, a faulty filler cap, or condensation, water in a diesel tank will quickly cause rust, promote bacterial growth ("diesel bug"), and destroy high-pressure fuel injectors.
-
Our Process: We use specialized suction and filtration equipment to draw the water out from the bottom of the fuel tank (as water settles beneath diesel fuel). We thoroughly flush the system and replace your fuel filter to protect your engine components.
Screenwash in an AdBlue Tank
-
Accidentally pouring screenwash into your dedicated AdBlue reservoir is an easy mistake to make. Screenwash contains soaps, alcohols, and chemicals that will poison the delicate catalysts in your vehicle's Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) exhaust system, leading to expensive dashboard errors and potential vehicle breakdown.
-
Our Process: We siphon and drain the contaminated AdBlue reservoir completely, flush the tank out with deionized water to remove all soapy residues, and clear any system faults so your vehicle's emissions system can function normally again.
